    At about 2:45 pm on March 26, Nam Du Border Guard Station (An Giang Border Guard Command) received a report from Mr. Ho Minh Hau, Head of Bai Ngu hamlet, Kien Hai special zone, An Giang province that there was a fire on the road around the island in the Bai Ngu hamlet area, Kien Hai special zone.

    Immediately after receiving the news, the Party Committee and unit commander sent a working group led by Lieutenant Colonel Truong Hong Luot, Deputy Station Chief, to quickly maneuver to the fire location in coordination with the Police Team in charge of the area, An Son Standing militia squad and some people to carry out firefighting.

    By 3:40 PM on the same day, the fire was extinguished. Preliminary situation, estimated fire area of about 200m2, low-lying shrub fire, no casualties or property damage, no spreading fire.
