On September 10, Song Cau Ward Police, Dak Lak province informed that the unit had just promptly found the lost woman and brought her back to her family.
At about 12:30 pm on September 9, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1996, residing in Hoa Thanh village, O Loan commune, Dak Lak province) in a state of panic came to Song Cau Ward Police to report that her younger sister was lost.
According to the report, in the morning of the same day, Ms. Hoa and her younger sister N.T. D (born in 1999, suffering from mental illness) came to Song Cau market.
Because she was not familiar with the road, Ms. D then got lost. Ms. Hoa searched but did not know which direction her younger sister was going, so she went to the police agency for support.
Upon receiving the information, Song Cau Ward Police encouraged and reassured her, and quickly assigned forces to organize the search for the lost person.
At about 5:30 pm on the same day, the police force discovered Ms. D walking around on National Highway 1A, the section belonging to Trung Trinh residential group, Song Cau ward.
The ward police immediately took Ms. D to the headquarters to take care of her, and at the same time contacted the O Loan Commune Police to inform the family to pick her up safely.
After finding her younger sister, Ms. Hoa expressed her emotion and sent a letter of thanks to Song Cau Ward Police. In the letter, she thanked officers and soldiers for wholeheartedly searching for and taking care of her younger sister, helping the family reunite soon.
