In the first 10 months of 2025, Lam Dong province has focused on synchronously implementing political tasks, focusing on streamlining the apparatus, mobilizing and rotating the team of cadres and civil servants leading a number of departments and branches.
The province's key economic sectors maintained growth momentum with GRDP growing by 6.42%; seasonal agricultural production progress, total export turnover of goods, increased by over 47% over the same period.
Currently, budget revenue is estimated at VND 25,800 billion, reaching over 91% of local estimates.
However, up to now, the province's public investment disbursement is very low compared to the plan, only reaching 28% of the plan; the progress of the province's key projects is still slower than the set plan.
The total capital in 2025 allocated for key projects is nearly 800 billion VND (accounting for 42% of the total planned capital in 2025 in the whole province), so far only 7% of the plan has been disbursed.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested to further promote the role and responsibility of heads of agencies and units in disbursing public investment capital.
Strictly handle according to regulations for cadres and civil servants who do not perform properly or lack responsibility in performing assigned tasks, especially the task of disbursing public investment capital.
Departments, branches and localities need to resolutely speed up the construction progress of key projects and works of the province, completely resolve problems in site clearance, and create conditions for investment projects to soon come into operation.
Mobilize all resources, prepare well for investment preparation and site clearance to speed up the implementation of Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong and Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway projects.
Relevant units must urgently complete the necessary documents and procedures to start construction of infrastructure investment projects for resettlement areas to serve the construction of the above 3 expressways.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi also requested departments, branches and localities to proactively and promptly review and remove difficulties and obstacles for each project and each enterprise in the management area according to regulations, especially wind power projects.
At the same time, effectively support the aluminum electrolyte project to soon put the aluminum electrolyte plant into operation to reach the designed capacity of phase I.
Attract businesses and large investors to participate in investing in large-scale, potential and strength projects in the province.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that departments, branches and localities continue to implement good natural disaster prevention measures, especially the situation of heavy rain causing flooding and landslides.
