On October 18, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that it had requested departments, branches, localities and public service units in the area to continue reviewing, researching and proposing plans to reorganize and streamline internal organization, in accordance with the actual situation and task requirements, in order to promote the effectiveness of assigned functions and tasks.
This Directive was issued by the Provincial People's Committee after Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee implemented a plan to continue to arrange public service units, state-owned enterprises and focal points within agencies and organizations in the province's political system.
According to the plan of the Provincial Party Committee, the arrangement aims to overcome the overlapping of functions, tasks and powers between Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, government agencies, public service units and state-owned enterprises.
Thereby, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, perfecting the organizational system in the direction of streamlining and operating effectively.
The plan emphasizes the focus on reducing focal points and promoting financial autonomy for the public service unit system in the province.
The arrangement of the apparatus must be scientific and objective, while ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of civil servants and employees.

The Provincial Party Committee also requires each agency and unit to perform many groups of functions and tasks, but each group of functions and tasks is only assigned to one agency to preside over and take primary responsibility to avoid overlap.
The arrangement and streamlining will be implemented at units such as: Lam Dong Newspaper, Lam Dong Radio and Television Station; public service units under the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee such as the Farmers' Association, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Provincial Labor Federation... and public service units in the fields of education and health.
At the same time, the province will rearrange 5 Project Management Boards under the Provincial People's Committee with no more than 3 Boards and reorganize the Lam Dong Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.
Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Home Affairs to synthesize and develop a Project to reorganize public service units according to regulations.
