On December 15, the Traffic Police Department - Quang Tri Provincial Police said it was coordinating with the Criminal Police Department to clarify the traffic accident that occurred on National Highway 1A, killing one person, in which the truck driver drove the related vehicle away from the scene.
According to initial information, at around 8:30 p.m. on December 14, at km752+500 of National Highway 1A, through Phu Hau village (Hieu Giang commune, Quang Tri province), Mr. N.M.H (born in 1964, residing in Trieu Phong commune, Quang Tri province) was driving a motorbike with license plate 74AD-046.xx traveling in the North - South direction. When arriving at the above location, the motorbike collided with a car with an unknown license plate parked on the right side of the road, traveling in the same direction in front.
The collision caused Mr. N.M.H to die on the spot, and his motorbike to be damaged. After the accident, the car left the scene.
Upon receiving the report, the Quang Tri Provincial Police force quickly arrived, organized a crime scene investigation, collected evidence and searched for the vehicle and the related driver to investigate and handle according to regulations.
