On April 22, functional agencies are investigating and clarifying the case of a girl about 2 years old being run over and killed by a car in a gas station on NC road intersecting with D7 road in Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The deceased girl was identified as N.N.P. A (born in 2024).
Initial information, at about 10 am on the same day, Mr. P.C. D (born in 1978, residing in Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) drove a car into a gas station on NC street intersecting with D7 street to refuel. At this time, baby N.N.P. A was lying playing on the walkway of the gas station yard.
When the car turned inside the gas station, due to lack of observation and not seeing it, the car ran over the child.

Discovering the incident, people at the gas station immediately ran out to shout for help for the baby. However, due to being too seriously injured, the baby girl died. The incident was later reported to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces of Ben Cat ward were present to protect the scene, extract camera footage, and collect statements from related people.
The case is being investigated and clarified by professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police.
