On the morning of May 21, Vinasarcom of Binh Thuan province said that while fishing, a captain of a Binh Thuan fishing boat had a work accident that resulted in his death.
The victim was Mr. D.V.T (born in 1972, residing in Long Hai commune, Phu Quy district) the owner and captain of fishing boat BTh 97986 TS. This fishing boat has a capacity of 430 CV, fishing, including 6 crew members. Ship departing from Phu Quy port to exploit seafood in the sea.
At about 5:00 a.m. on May 19, when the ship was operating in the sea area of Tay A rock island in Truong Sa archipelago, about 223 nautical miles east of Phu Quy island, Mr. T strange was fishing. After getting on the boat, Mr. T showed signs of fatigue. The crew members performed first aid and took Mr. T to the Tay A Da Island Military Medical Center for emergency treatment.
At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. T died. Fishing boat BTh 97986 TS is taking the victim's body to Phu Quy Island, expected to arrive on Phu Quy Island on the afternoon of May 21. The initial cause was determined to be that during the journey, Mr. T had a juice that led to his death.
