On March 25, the leader of Vu Quang National Park said that through the camera trap, the unit had just recorded a wild animal that was covering Nam Duong with a rare albino.
This is the first time the camera trap has recorded the image of a individual covering Nam Duong with a sudden albino effect in Vu Quang National Park. This individual has a body about 40-50cm long, with an average weight of about 1.3 to 2.3kg.
The Nam Duong mascot has a sudden albino appearance just like other normal Nam Duong mascots, the only difference is that the whole body has a smooth white fur coat, looking very beautiful.
The recording of the image of the individual covering the Nam Duong with a sudden albino shows more biodiversity in Vu Quang National Park.
Nam Duong's cows are on the list of endangered, precious, and rare wild animals in group IIB that need to be protected and conserved. This species is also listed in the Vietnam Red Book.
