Mr. Tran Ngoc Hai - Director of An Khuong Ornamental Flower Cooperative shared that this year flower growers achieved good and stable quality. At the beginning of the season, the prices of agricultural materials, straw, and substrates increased, but farmers tried to cover costs to make a profit.
Mr. Hai shared that his family has been growing flowers from 2003 to now, main types such as marigolds, chrysanthemums, sunflowers.
This crop, I planted about 2,500 pots, at first it rained and it was cold, so I estimated it would be slow, then I watered it. In case it is predicted to bloom early, I water with more fertilizer and water for 3 days. Hearing information that some places have early blooms, the weather is unpredictable, so I have to be careful in the care stage," Mr. Hai said.
In addition, Mr. Hai also said that with marigolds, the sunnier the weather, they will bloom faster. It is necessary to depend on the type of flower, weather, and planting date to estimate that they will bloom in time for Tet. Mr. Hai's family's flowers are registered for batches to sell in many places, and sometimes sold to traders.

Mr. Le Thanh Vu, who has 20 years of experience in flower growing, shared that his family mainly grows marigolds, this year he grows about 10,000 pots, both for retail and for traders. The weather is not favorable, but Mr. Vu proactively monitors the weather, based on his experience of seeing the sowing date, watering, and fertilizing to have flowers bloom right for Tet.
Every year, thanks to the Tet flower crop, people have more income and stabilize their lives. Fertilizers, pesticides, and substrates increase, and output must also increase slightly for gardeners to make a little profit, which is also taking labor as profit. This year, I see that the prices of everything have increased, but it's less likely that the flowers will be of good quality, not blooming early or late, but right during Tet," Mr. Vu expressed.

According to assessments, flower market prices have increased slightly, currently flower markets are bustling and vibrant. People go shopping crowdedly, increasing day by day.
