Proposal to overcome administrative file delays
On the morning of October 7, in Ngu Hanh Son ward, the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City held a meeting with voters before the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.
At the conference, voter Dang Thi Anh Phi (Group 27, Ngu Hanh Son Ward) reflected that although the procedure settlement process has been clearly announced, the actual implementation is still inadequate, causing waste of time and effort for the people. There are records for five or seven trips but there are still no results.
"People really need a transparent, punctual process to feel "happy" that is, being served quickly and transparently," voters expressed.
Voters requested the city to review the process of handling documents at the one-stop department, improve responsibility and reputation in service, and at the same time have specific sanctions for cases of delays, ensuring the rights and satisfaction of the people.
Proactively notifying people when administrative records are delayed
Responding to voters' opinions, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son Ward People's Committee said that the current administrative procedures are assessed to the level of satisfaction of people every week and every month. Mr. Hoa said that cadres and civil servants in the wards are still trying to work after hours, even at noon, Saturday and Sunday to meet work requirements.
"We take note of voters' comments and will continue to improve," said Mr. Hoa.
Speaking on this issue, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that Ngu Hanh Son Ward is currently a locality implementing a two-level, one-level government model with the scale of work almost the same as the district before, but the apparatus is only at the ward level. This has caused the workload to increase, while human resources have decreased significantly.
"Previously, the district had nearly 10 specialized departments, now the ward only has 2 departments, so the pressure is very high. I hope voters will share and accompany so that the government can gradually perfect this model," said Mr. Cuong.
According to Mr. Cuong, the city government will direct the ward to develop a specific plan, prioritizing the handling of urgent issues such as flood and storm prevention, environmental sanitation, urban order and security and order.
Regarding the delay in handling administrative procedures, Mr. Cuong suggested that agencies, units and one-stop departments should proactively contact and promptly notify people when their documents are delayed, avoiding people having to travel many times.
Just a phone call or notification message can help people save time and effort, Mr. Cuong emphasized.
