On September 22, information from the People's Committee of Lang Son province, the province has approved the investment policy for the project to renovate and upgrade the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters in Luong Van Tri ward.
The project is implemented from 2026 to 2029 using public investment capital from the provincial budget.
According to the approved plan, the entire degraded corrugated iron roof of about 1,850 m2 will be dismantled.
The terrace and main hall area of 400 m2 along with the system of windows, walls, and technical infrastructure that no longer meets the usage requirements are also demolished for renovation.
About 250 m of gates, fences and more than 3,600 m2 of yards, roads, and existing landscapes will be dismantled and renovated.
The front and back of the building, about 210 m long and 21 m high, have been comprehensively renovated. Degraded wooden windows have been replaced with aluminum frames and tempered glass.
The project adds two working blocks next to and two blocks behind the existing building. The 5-story buildings have a construction area of about 712 m2, with a total floor area of 3,560 m2.
The existing 5-story building has been raised one floor, with an area of about 1,880 m2. The rooftop area of about 120 m2 has also been newly built.
Electrical and mechanical systems, fire prevention and fighting, and equipment in the newly built and upgraded area will be invested synchronously.
The project belongs to group B, civil works level I, with a total investment of VND 195.2 billion.
The Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned to manage and coordinate with relevant units to implement.
According to Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the renovation aims to rearrange the working space of the advisory and assisting agencies of the Provincial Party Committee in a centralized direction; meeting the requirements of administrative reform and digital transformation.
The investment plan prioritizes taking advantage of structures that still ensure quality, limiting unnecessary new construction and improving the efficiency of public asset use.
