On September 23, representatives of the leaders of Quang Trung Ward People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province, said that a chain traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing 1 person and injuring 3 others.
According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 10:37 am on the same day on National Highway 1A, passing Nguyen Hue street, Quang Trung ward.
Images from security cameras show that at the above time, a white truck was traveling in the North - South direction. When reaching the above area, a black car rushed from behind, colliding with the side of the truck.
After a strong collision, the truck lost control, rushed into the opposite lane and continued to rush onto the sidewalk, crashing into the wall of a roadside house. The black car turned sideways and stopped in the middle of the road.
According to a representative of Quang Trung Ward People's Committee, the chain accident killed 1 motorcyclist and injured 3 others. 4 cars were damaged, including 2 cars, 1 truck and 1 passenger car.
Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities and functional forces were present, organized to protect the scene, support the victims and divert traffic.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
