Lang Son is about to open a road connecting a famous tourist village with a hundred-year-old nghiến forest

Lang Son - The 4.5km road connecting Quynh Son tourist village with the primary Nghien forest is being studied for implementation.

Information from the People's Committee of Lang Son province, the province is promoting the review and completion of investment plans for a number of transport projects in mountainous areas to solve infrastructure shortcomings, create motivation for socio-economic development and effectively exploit local tourism potential.

In Thien Long commune, many roads are still in a state of degradation, the road surface is narrow, the slope is steep and often encounter difficulties during the rainy season.

This significantly affects the travel and transportation of agricultural and forestry products as well as access to essential services for people.

According to the province's orientation, the old DH. 65 road will be prioritized for completing investment procedures to soon deploy upgrades in the near future.

This is a traffic route that plays a role in connecting the commune center with residential areas, serving production development and goods circulation in the area.

In parallel with that, rural transport routes such as Tan Tien - Khuoi Bong, Pac Cap - Ban Quang or Lung Ly village road are also proposed to be included in the rural transport development plan for the period 2026 - 2030.

These projects are expected to contribute to gradually completing the transportation network in areas with many difficulties.

Another item that received attention is Coc Sa bridge in Khuoi Bong village. The project is expected to connect Thien Long commune with Tan Tri commune, creating more favorable conditions for people in the two localities in trading, studying, medical examination and treatment and responding to natural disaster situations in the rainy and flood season.

Meanwhile, in Bac Son commune, the Tan Son - Dong Dang road, about 4.5km long, is assessed as having the potential to create breakthroughs for tourism development.

Currently, this area is mainly dirt roads, weak and narrow foundations, not meeting travel needs as well as exploiting landscape and ecological advantages.

A noteworthy point is that the route will directly connect Quynh Son Community Tourist Village with Dong Dang primary ironwood forest - a forest assessed as having ecological value and unique landscape of Bac Son.

When completed, the route will not only shorten travel time but also open up opportunities to form a chain of community tourism, ecotourism and local cultural discovery experiences.

According to the orientations being studied, investing in transport infrastructure in this area will contribute to attracting businesses to participate in tourism service development, creating more jobs for people, and improving the efficiency of natural resource conservation and traditional cultural values.
