The Sa Pa town administrative agency headquarters project has a total investment of VND197.8 billion, invested by the Department of Transport - Construction.
The project belongs to group B project, designed in a modern architectural style, including 6 upper floors, 1 basement, construction area of 5,108 m2, floor area of 14,600 m2.
In which, the basement is arranged for parking and technical equipment of the building, the floors from the 1st to the 5th floor are arranged with offices for agencies, meeting rooms, and conference rooms; the 6th floor is designed as a storage warehouse for agencies and units.
In mid-March 2025, according to records, the new administrative center is located on the top of a hill, in the Northwest Sub-region of the town. Around the area are a series of townhouses under construction.
Through observation, up to now, the rough construction of the project has almost been completed, the shape of the headquarters is gradually emerging.
According to Sa Pa Town Party Secretary Phan Dang Toan: The project to build a new administrative center of the town has now completed the construction. Within the first 6 months of 2025, the project will be completed and put into use.
Bao Thang District Administrative Headquarters
The new headquarters of Bao Thang District Administrative Center was built in Pho Lu town, on the old headquarters.
In mid-March, according to records, the hundred-billion-dong headquarters of Bao Thang district has gradually emerged after a period of construction.
The architectural scale of the office is 15 stories high, with 3 floors of the base and 12 floors of the tower, the construction area is 3,370m2, the total floor area is 13,591m2. The investment cost of the project is 200 billion VND, with the Bao Thang District Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor's representative.
The project started in December 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2025.
On March 13, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Deputy Director of the Bao Thang District Construction Investment Project Management Board Vu Hong Ha said: Lao Cai province has issued a document requesting a temporary suspension of the implementation of works and projects in the process of implementing the arrangement and organization of the political apparatus. Therefore, we are synthesizing to report to the Provincial People's Committee before March 15".
Bac Ha District Administrative Headquarters
The project to build the administrative headquarters of Bac Ha district with an investment capital of 200 billion VND is funded by the central budget and the budget of Bac Ha district.
The project has a scale of: 5-storey apartment building, including 3 clusters of space arranged in 3 levels of the terrain connected by a roofed corridor system, creating a seamless and convenient working space.
The project has a duration of 360 days, started in June 2024 and is expected to be completed by May 24, 2025.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, many items of the new headquarters have been completed.
A representative of the Bac Ha District Construction Investment Project Management Board said: "The new headquarters was built on the old headquarters, so the site clearance work is more or less favorable. Only a few households have to carry out site clearance and hand over for the project".
On March 10, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong issued a document on reviewing and temporarily suspending the implementation of works and projects in the process of arranging and organizing the apparatus. At the same time, the People's Committees of districts are assigned to urgently review, synthesize and propose handling measures for each specific case, and report to the Provincial People's Committee before March 15.
