On December 6, the South Saigon Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) drew up an administrative violation report against Mr. T.Q.T. (born in 1984, residing in Binh Thuan province), the driver of the blue-plate car that drove into the motorbike lane on Phu My bridge.
According to the reporter's investigation, on the afternoon of December 5, Mr. T. drove a car with a blue license plate from Binh Thuan province into the motorbike lane on Phu My bridge, District 7. At that time, the vehicle blocked an entire lane, forcing motorbikes in the same direction to avoid it.
After verification, the South Saigon Traffic Police Team invited Mr. T. to work and at the same time made a record of administrative violation against the male driver for entering a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven.
It is known that 5 months earlier, another driver who drove his car into the motorbike lane on Phu My bridge was also fined by traffic police.
The South Saigon Traffic Police Team recommends that units must strengthen propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic safety laws for drivers. Thereby contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of drivers when participating in traffic, preventing and limiting traffic accidents.
