On February 16, officers and soldiers of professional units under the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command completed the installation of fireworks displays at 8 locations in the area, preparing to serve the people on New Year's Eve of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
From early morning, the atmosphere at the fireworks display points became bustling. In each area, the fireworks platforms were transported, arranged and fixed according to the approved technical diagram.
Electronic control systems, wires and ignition devices are thoroughly inspected, ensuring accurate, synchronous and safe operation.
According to records, the number of fireworks displays at each point ranges from 90 to 150 low-altitude fireworks displays. The simultaneous firing time is expected to last from 10 to 15 minutes during New Year's Eve.
Representatives of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command said that the entire installation process was carried out strictly according to regulations on management, use of explosives and organization of fireworks displays.
In parallel, plans to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, traffic diversion and control of the shooting area have been specifically developed and ready for deployment.
On the New Year's Eve of Binh Ngo 2026, Khanh Hoa province will organize fireworks displays at 8 locations including: April 2nd Square; Hon Tre Island (Nha Trang ward); Quang Hoi fishing port (Van Thang commune); area near Cam Lam Commune Party Committee headquarters; area near Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee headquarters; area behind Nam Cam Ranh Commune Party Committee headquarters; April 16th Square area (Dong Hai ward); in front of the gate of Ninh Son Commune multi-purpose gymnasium.
Organizing fireworks displays during Tet not only creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people but also contributes to promoting the local image and attracting tourists to Khanh Hoa in the first days of the new year.
