Fishing boat capsizes 100m from shore at Nhat Le estuary

    Quang Tri - Fishing boat capsizes at Nhat Le estuary, causing 7 crew members to fall into the sea, luckily swimming ashore safely.

    On March 4, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard) said that a fishing boat capsizing incident had just occurred in the Nhat Le estuary area, Dong Hoi ward.

    According to initial information, at about 6:30 am on the same day, a fishing boat operating near the shore suddenly capsized in an area about 100m from the shore.

    At the time of the incident, there were 7 crew members on board. Fortunately, all crew members swam ashore safely.

    Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene to grasp the situation and coordinate to handle the incident according to regulations.

    The cause of the ship capsizing is being verified and clarified.
