According to initial information, on the afternoon of April 5, Mr. Nguyen Trong Binh and a number of others went into the La Ba River, the section flowing through Xuan Truong and Tram Hanh communes, Da Lat city, to visit and patrol the forest.
At about 2:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Binh used a homemade boat of local people to row to the La Ba River. At this time, the boat capsized. Mr. Binh was swept away by the river and died.
After receiving the news, local people went to the scene to search for the victim's body. However, due to deep water, the search results were unsuccessful.
Afterwards, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police mobilized forces and professional vehicles to search for the victim's body.
At 6:00 p.m. the same day, the body of Mr. Nguyen Trong Binh was found by the authorities and handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
