According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 23:56 on April 4 at km 83+300m of National Highway 12B, passing through Chong Vac hamlet, Dong Lai commune, Tan Lac district.
At this time, a motorbike with license plate 28E1-252.71 carrying two young men traveling from Tan Lac to Lac Son collided with a car with license plate 26F-008.71 driven by Mr. Ha Van H (born in 1983, residing in sub-zone 8, Hat Lot town, Mai Son district, Son La province) in the opposite direction.
The two victims on the motorbike were identified as Mr. Bui Van K (born in 2000) and Mr. Bui Van T (born in 2001), both residing in Ngoc My commune, Tan Lac district.
Both died at the scene. It is not yet known who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The authorities tested the drugs and alcohol concentration of driver Ha Van H, the results showed that no violations were detected.
The collision caused severe damage to both vehicles.
The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
