Many practical activities
In the last months of 2024, Dak Nong Power Company (PC Dak Nong) has implemented many practical and meaningful gratitude and charity activities for poor households and policy households in the province.
PC Dak Nong presented 100 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) including rice and necessities to poor households in Quang Tam and Dak Tit communes (Tuy Duc district); Quang Khe commune (Dak Glong district) and Bach Tuyet Orphanage Center.
This is the heart and sharing of PC Dak Nong officers and employees for poor households in the province.
Receiving the gifts, Mr. K'Chia in Quang Khe commune, Dak Glong district could not hide his emotion. Because these necessities will help Mr. K'Chia's family save some living expenses in December.
With the money saved, Mr. K'Chia will buy some more items for his family during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
According to PC Dak Nong, with the message "Accompanying customers to use electricity safely, economically and effectively", power units in Dak Nong also simultaneously deployed other humanitarian activities.
For example, free electrical repairs, replacement of wiring systems behind the meter, replacement of bulbs and household electrical appliances for over 70 poor households in remote areas in the area.
Mr. Tran Van Canh, in Tuy Duc district, shared: “My family’s circumstances are difficult, and we live in a remote area. Now that the electricity sector has shown interest in us, given us light bulbs and installed an electrical panel, my family is very happy. On behalf of my family, I would like to express my gratitude to the Dak Nong province electricity sector.”
Acknowledging the support of the electricity sector, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Khe commune (Dak Glong district) expressed her deep gratitude to PC Dak Nong for their attention, support and coordination with the locality.
Since then, the electricity sector has worked with functional sectors and authorities at all levels to take good care of the lives of poor households and policy families in the area, helping them have a better life.
Towards the difficult areas
With the message "Responsibility - Affection", PC Dak Nong participated in the implementation of the voluntary blood donation program "Pink Week" EVN X - 2024.
This message carries a humane, noble idea that makes the life of each person in the community more meaningful.
Dak Nong PC leaders informed that the unit always builds trust and creates connections between the electricity industry, local authorities and people through practical actions. The social security activities that the company has implemented in the past year have clearly demonstrated the above goal.
These include supporting social insurance cards for people in difficult circumstances; supporting the construction of charity houses for policy households and poor households; donating solar power projects to schools...
