Quang Tri - The impact of storm No. 12 caused heavy rain, but the memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains found in Quang Tri ancient citadel still took place solemnly and emotionally.
On the morning of October 22, at the Quang Tri Ward Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri Province, a memorial service was held and 34 martyrs' remains were buried in the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and Bo De School (Quang Tri Ward).

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Office of National Steering Committee 515; Military Region 4 Command; Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4. and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province.

Despite prolonged heavy rain due to the impact of storm No. 12, the ceremony was still solemn and emotional. Amidst the powerful melodious music, each incense offering covered with the national flag was moved to the burial area in the hazy smoke and the eyes of the delegates and people.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province read a request for a heartfelt gratitude to those who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Mr. Le Duc Tien affirmed: "Their blood and bones have blended into the rivers and mountains, creating an eternal spring for the Vietnamese people. Although their names are not fully known, their souls have transformed into every piece of land here.

In the sacred atmosphere, 34 martyrs' remains were buried in the motherland, alongside more than 730 outstanding children resting at Quang Tri Martyrs' Cemetery.
Previously, from September 14 to October 16, 2025, the 584th Collection Team - Quang Tri Provincial Military Command searched for and collected 34 martyrs' remains in the ancient citadel and Truong Bo De area.
