At about 5:48 a.m. this morning (December 22), a serious traffic accident occurred on Dinh Vu Street (in front of SITC port). The tractor-trailer driven by Mr. P.V.S (born in 1984, residing in Duc Linh 2 village, Phu Duc, Hung Yen) was traveling from Nam Dinh Vu industrial park to Mac Thai To intersection, Dinh Vu when it collided with Mr. V.K.T (born in 1962, residing in Hung Yen province) walking onto the road. As a result, Mr. T died.
Previously, on December 21, there were 3 traffic accidents in the area, killing 3 people. Specifically, at about 8:15 a.m. at Km83+679 National Highway 37, in Ninhhap 7 residential group, Chu Van An ward, a tractor-trailer, towing a trailer traveling from Chu Van An to Le Dai Hanh collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. D.H.Q (born in 1959), residing in Le Dai Hanh ward, traveling from Lam Son street to National Highway 37, turning right towards Le Dai Hanh. As a result, Mr. Q died at the scene.
Next, at around 4:53 p.m., at km 21+950 of National Highway 10 in Ngo Yen residential group, Hong An ward, a traffic accident also occurred between a motorbike driven by Mr. N.T.P (born in 1958), residing in Phu Tinh village, Ha Dong commune, traveling in the direction of Kien bridge - Quan Toan intersection, colliding with a truck with a tarpaulin roof traveling in front in the same direction. As a result, Mr. P died at the scene. The initial cause was determined to be that Mr. P was driving the motorbike without paying attention.
The third incident of the day occurred at more than 7:00 p.m. in front of house G27a of Sao Do villa, on Pham Van Dong street in Phu Hai area, Hung Dao ward. At this time, the motorbike was driven by Mr. N.V.D (born in 1965, residing in Kien Hai commune), when going to the above area, an accident occurred (it was not determined to have collided with any other person or vehicle). As a result, Mr. D died on the spot. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
