On June 16, according to the Office of Da Nang City People's Committee, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung signed and issued a Plan on strengthening the training of cadres and civil servants in communes, wards, and special zones in Da Nang city to meet the requirements of operating local government at 2 levels in the 2026-2031 period.
In the period 2026 - 2028, the city will implement professional knowledge training for commune-level officials and civil servants who do not meet the professional and nghiệp vụ requirements of the new job positions arranged at the commune level when operating the local government at 2 levels. The training period is 3 months.
The plan for professional, nghiệp vụ and skill training in this phase includes: Training knowledge and skills in state management for leadership and management titles according to the Program of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
For professional civil servants at the commune level, the general knowledge training time on state management to meet the requirements of operating local governments at 2 levels is 2 weeks. Professional, nghiệp vụ, and skills training courses to meet the requirements of operating local governments at 2 other levels have a duration of 2 to 5 days each course.
In the period 2029 - 2031, for leading and managing cadres and civil servants, the city will continue to train knowledge and skills in state management according to the Program of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
At the same time, strengthen training and fostering to update professional knowledge and skills to serve leadership and management work from 2 to 5 days each course. In which, priority is given to fostering contents on the new era, on digital production methods, on modern public management thinking and skills, building digital government, and applying information technology in leadership, direction, and administration at the commune level.
For professional civil servants in the period 2029 - 2031, the city continues to foster general knowledge of state management to meet the requirements of operating local governments at 2 levels.
At the same time, implement training and fostering to update knowledge, professional skills, new nghiệp vụ and in-depth nghiệp vụ to perform assigned tasks and công vụ proficiently and effectively. Training and fostering time is from 2 to 5 days per course.
