400 billion VND headquarters in the city center
The project to build the headquarters of the Thai Nguyen provincial agencies has a total investment of 405 billion VND. The project started in June 2023, located in Trung Vuong ward, the center of Thai Nguyen city. The inter-agency headquarters building consists of 3 blocks of 7-12 floors and 1 basement.
After 1.5 years of construction, the shape of the hundred billion headquarters has been revealed, the roof has been raised and the rough construction is basically completed. The construction unit is implementing the final stages such as plastering walls, installing transformer stations, electricity and water systems, painting walls and auxiliary items.
According to the Management Board of the Project for Investment in Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Thai Nguyen Province (the investor), the project is currently in the final stages of completion. The rough construction of the headquarters is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
Of which, the rough part of the project has been completed at over 96%. The accumulated disbursement to date has reached over 66.64% of the allocated capital plan. When completed, the project will help people conveniently complete administrative procedures; at the same time, it will be an architectural highlight and urban beauty of Thai Nguyen City.
Thai Nguyen - Hanoi Bridge
The new Da Phuc bridge project across Cong River, connecting Pho Yen City (Thai Nguyen) and Soc Son District (Hanoi), started construction in August 2022. The project is part of the project to renovate weak bridges and connecting bridges on National Highways (phase 1) with a total capital of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
After more than 2 years of implementation, the bridge connecting Thai Nguyen - Hanoi has been basically completed. Workers are rushing to implement some final items of the project.
The bridge deck and approach road on the Pho Yen City side (Thai Nguyen) have been completed. The railing of the bridge over the river has been installed. At the Hanoi end of the bridge, the construction unit is laying asphalt.
Speaking to Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dam - Chairman of Thuan Thanh Ward People's Committee (Pho Yen City) said that the main items of the project have been completed. When completed and put into use, it will help expand the trading space and develop the local economy.
The largest stadium in the northern mountainous region
The Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium project has a total cost of more than 500 billion VND, starting construction in October 2022. The project has a capacity of 22,000 seats, and when completed will be the largest stadium in the northern mountainous region.
After more than 2 years of implementation, the main items of the project have been completed. The rough construction and auxiliary items are being accelerated. The stands and roof items have been basically completed. The construction unit is proceeding with the turfing of the football field. The railing system and the road leading to the stadium have been completed.
According to information from the construction unit, the project progress has reached more than 90% of construction volume and is expected to be completed in 2025.
The project is considered one of the key projects in the tea land, developing sports, tourism, and improving the urban appearance of Thai Nguyen.
