Hung Yen province is focusing resources on implementing a series of large-scale transport infrastructure projects, with regional and inter-provincial linkages, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development in the new period.
Prominent projects include the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway (CT.08); the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting to Pho Hien ward; the Thai Binh city road (old) to Nghin bridge; the road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River and many other strategic transport routes.
In which, the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway project passing through Hung Yen province is identified as a key traffic project. The length through Hung Yen province is about 33.3km, designed with a scale of 4 complete lanes, roadbed width of 24.75m, designed speed of 120km/hour. The project starts in Nghia Hung commune, Ninh Binh province and the end point is in Thai Thuy commune, Hung Yen province.
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the construction site, the construction atmosphere of the CT.08 expressway, the section passing through Hung Yen province, is taking place urgently day and night. Currently, the main items being deployed are main bridges on the route such as the Hong River overpass, Ninh Co bridge and Tra Ly bridge.
According to the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 of Hung Yen province, to ensure progress, the contractor mobilized nearly 100 engineers, workers and more than 50 equipment, organizing continuous construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams. The construction unit has proactively mobilized maximum manpower and resources; and at the same time, soon connect materials supply sources, proposing the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with neighboring localities to have a specific mechanism for material mine exploitation.
In parallel with that, the construction atmosphere of the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting to Pho Hien ward is also taking place urgently. Construction teams are focusing on deploying the main bridge item over the Tra Ly River; the roadbed has completed investment procedures and is entering the construction phase.
And at the project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River, 8 main construction points are also implementing the items of excavating and filling the foundation, treating weak soil with cement - soil piles, waterproofing and loading the foundation at locations that have clean ground.
Based on synchronous, drastic and consensual implementation by the people, key projects in Hung Yen province are gradually taking shape, not only creating a new face for the province but also affirming the determination to accelerate development right from the beginning of the term. From there, laying a solid foundation for the goal of rapid and sustainable development in the period 2025 - 2030 and the following years.
