Construction of a road worth more than 4,900 billion VND
The project invests in building a road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune, connecting to Pho Hien ward with a total length of about 24.8km; starting point at the intersection between the road to Song Tra TBS Industrial Park and National Highway 10 (belonging to Thai Binh ward, Hung Yen province), ending point at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass (belonging to Ngu Thien commune, Hung Yen province).
The route passes through localities: Thai Binh ward, Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung, Hong Minh, Hung Ha, Tien La and Ngu Thien communes. Total investment is more than 4,900 billion VND, of which construction costs are more than 3,218 billion VND, compensation, support and resettlement costs are more than 1,035 billion VND.

The project is divided into two phases: phase 1 (from National Highway 10 intersection to Dong Tu intersection) with a total cost of about 3,735 billion VND; phase 2 (from Dong Tu intersection to Luoc River right dike) with a total cost of about 1,192 billion VND.
According to Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia, the road project from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune, connecting to Pho Hien ward, not only contributes to completing essential transport infrastructure of the province and the region, meeting the travel and transportation needs of the people, but also opens up new development space, creating conditions for the formation of urban, service, and industrial areas along the route, strongly attracting investment resources.
People agree to give up land, accelerate site clearance
In Hung Ha commune, the road is about 6.4km long; with a total land area to be recovered of nearly 60ha, mainly agricultural land of households and individuals.

As one of the households with acquired rice fields, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mat (in Hop Doai village, Hung Ha commune) expressed: "My family has 6 sao of rice fields in the area to be acquired to serve the road. Because we are a farming family, we initially felt sorry, but because of the common development, building roads convenient for travel, my family agreed to give land to the project".
Also a locality with a road passing through, in Thuong Ngan 1 hamlet, Hung Ha commune, many households with land in the recovered area have shown high consensus, ready to hand over land to serve the project. People here share their common joy that when the road is completed, it will contribute to making the homeland's landscape more spacious and wish the project to be completed soon so that people's lives can be improved and the face of rural areas has a positive change.
In Tien Hung commune, project site clearance work is being implemented drastically, receiving high consensus from the people. It is known that the length of the road passing through 7 villages is about 4km; the total area to be recovered is 25.08ha of 494 households.

Agreeing to give up more than 4 sao of garden specializing in growing seedlings of all kinds, bringing the main source of income for the family for the project, Mr. Pham Van Ket (Doai village, Tien Hung commune) said: "Our area is a large area for growing flowers, ornamental plants, and seedlings of the province, the biggest difficulty is still the inconvenient traffic. Since there was a policy to build a road to pass through, meeting the long-standing expectations of the people, my family agreed from the beginning. The family has received compensation, support and handed over land to the locality to implement the project".
Not only Mr. Ket's family, but 90 other households in Doai and Quan Thon villages with land in the recovered area also agreed and proactively coordinated to inventory and determine the origin of the land.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Quyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Doai village, Tien Hung commune - said that the village has established 3 working groups to go to each household with recovered land to inform about the road construction policy, propagate, and mobilize households. In addition, village officials also participate with the inspection team to count and supervise the payment of compensation money to ensure the rights of the people.
