The road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River is about 55.68 km long, passing through 13 communes of Hung Yen province, starting point at Km0+000 (adjacent to Hanoi, Phung Cong commune), ending point at Km55+680 (Tan Hung commune).
On the route, bridges will be built across the irrigation canal system, including bridges at Lien Nghia pumping station, Nghi Xuyen pumping station and Nghi Xuyen bridge, designed to suit the flow scale and long-term exploitation requirements.

Immediately after the project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in Hung Yen was started on August 19, 2025, the joint venture contractor mobilized nearly 100 machinery and equipment and deployed 8 construction teams simultaneously throughout the route.

In the last days of the year, the construction site is bustling with simultaneous construction teams, machinery and manpower are arranged at high intensity to ensure progress according to the plan. Many sections of the route have been synchronously constructed, from leveling, foundation treatment to deploying technical items.
Contractors are accelerating construction with a spirit of urgency, to ensure completion on schedule as approved.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phai, representative of Lizen Joint Stock Company, at the construction site, the unit has arranged about 200 engineers and workers, along with many equipment, divided into 15 synchronous construction teams at the locations where the site has been handed over.
With the spirit of "as soon as there is land, construction is immediately carried out", the unit deploys three consecutive shifts, determined to ensure progress. During the 2026 New Year holiday, the company still arranges personnel and machinery to continuously construct to maintain progress.

Currently, the Hung Yen Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 is coordinating with departments, branches, and localities to urgently implement compensation and site clearance to create a clean land fund for contractors.
The gradual formation of the road along the Red River not only contributes to improving transport infrastructure but also creates a foundation for reorganizing the development space along the river axis.
In the context of localities promoting regional linkages and exploiting cultural and tourism potential associated with sustainable development, the project is expected to become an important driving force of the Northern Delta region.
