At 3:15 p.m. on October 9, a tornado suddenly occurred in Hamlet 1, Tri Phai Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province, causing serious damage to people's houses.

Mr. Huynh Van Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tri Phai Commune, Thoi Binh District - said: The tornado injured 5 people, including 3 children. All victims were transferred to the District Medical Center for emergency care and treatment. Local authorities are helping people overcome the consequences.

According to the People's Committee of Tri Phai Commune, the tornado damaged 11 houses, of which 4 collapsed completely, the remaining 7 had their roofs blown off and were severely damaged. In addition, many trees fell, blocking the road, causing traffic congestion.
