Gia Lai - Floods buried houses, killing people, local authorities came to encourage the family to overcome difficulties and disasters.

On November 21, when the sea waves temporarily calm after many days of rough seas, the working group of Quy Nhon ward (Gia Lai province) crossed the sea to Hai Minh fishing village to give necessities and encourage people who are isolated by major floods and landslides. This is the first visit by the government after many days of sea roads being blocked due to bad weather.

At the scene of the landslide, many houses were buried by rocks and soil, the most heartbreaking of which was the family of Mr. Tran Van Tri (born in 1993).

The landslide suddenly killed his mother, and his father was lucky to be rescued from the rubble. "I was checking the boat when I heard the news of the house collapsing. When he ran home, his parents were buried. People help dig up to find their mother, Mr. Tri choked up.

The house was completely destroyed, with no place to take care of the funeral, so the family had to bring the coffin to the temporary shrine. The Quy Nhon ward government has sent condolences and said it will support the family in rebuilding the house.

During the working trip, the delegation presented 20 gifts to the people and 5 gifts to Border Guard Squadron 2 - a force on duty to support rescue.

"The flooded rain prevented us from moving earlier. When conditions allow, we immediately set out to support the people," he said.
