According to people participating in traffic at the scene, at around 5:00 p.m. on November 20, on the Dien Chau - Mai Son expressway, from Nghe An to Thanh Hoa, a series of traffic accidents occurred, causing severe damage to many vehicles.
According to information from some traffic participants present at the scene, the incident involved many cars, one of which had its railing hanging and fell into a rice field area along the road. Some trucks and cars have frontal deformities, many pieces of broken soil on the road surface, traffic through the affected area.
Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived to direct traffic, protect the scene and investigate the cause of the accident. Rescue work and towing vehicles away from the scene are underway.
