Military forces, police, and militia must reach isolated areas and areas where people need relief due to floods.

At 10:00 p.m. on November 20 (Hanoi time), from Algeria, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an urgent online meeting with leaders of ministries, agencies and localities on the situation and urgent solutions to respond to floods and natural disasters in some Central provinces.

In his concluding remarks, the Prime Minister sympathized with the Party committees, authorities and people of localities that are heavily affected by natural disasters, and sent his condolences to the families of the dead, missing, and injured.

The Prime Minister requested to review and mobilize all forces (military, police, militia, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and other forces), mobilize all resources, all components that can be mobilized, and must reach isolated areas and areas where people need relief.

Immediately take care of temporary housing for people who have lost their homes; immediately repair houses that can be repaired, mobilize resources from the central and local governments, and mobilize all forces for this.

Dedicate resources to restore schools for students; health stations, hospitals... to care for people's medical examination and treatment; clean the environment, prevent diseases that may arise after the water recedes.

The Prime Minister requested to continue reviewing, assessing and synthesizing the damage situation; in parallel with overcoming the consequences, it is necessary to urgently restore production and business, employment, and livelihoods for people; have financial and credit support policies for people and businesses in difficult times.

The head of the Government continues to call for the spirit of mutual love and support of compatriots, comrades across the country, and philanthropists with the spirit of "whoever has something to help, whoever has property to help, whoever has merits to help, whoever has a lot to help a lot, whoever has little to help a little, help at any convenience, there", provide comprehensive help in all fields with all available abilities.

The Ministry of Finance immediately provides rice, the Ministry of Health provides medical supplies, chemicals... to the provinces, and immediately meets the needs, the Army and the Police mobilize forces and means for transportation.

The Ministry of Finance balances the immediate support of 200 billion VND for Lam Dong province, 200 billion VND for Khanh Hoa province, support for Dak Lak with an additional 150 billion VND (230 billion VND has been supported), Gia Lai with an additional 150 billion VND (330 billion VND has been supported).

The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Ministers to directly direct natural disaster response and search and rescue work in localities.

The Ministry of Public Security coordinates with localities and forces to resolutely not allow people or vehicles to enter areas with deep flooding, landslides, or danger.

The Ministry of Science and Technology, Viettel, VNPT, and Mobifone enterprises urgently restore communication. The Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee closely monitors the situation to proactively coordinate and mobilize local support forces.

The Prime Minister once again emphasized the highest goal of minimizing human damage, focusing on saving people, accessing areas that are not yet available to save people, and supporting the people.
