At around 9:00 p.m. on October 20, a major fire broke out in An Lai village, Mao Dien commune (Hai Phong city), burning down an industrial fabric factory.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out at around 8:40 p.m., and quickly spread because the workshop had many flammable materials. When people discovered it, the fire had risen high, black smoke covered the area.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Police quickly dispatched fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene, urgently deploying fire fighting work, preventing the fire from spreading to the scrap yard and neighboring areas.
After a period of efforts to control the fire, it was basically extinguished. The incident did not cause any human casualties, but part of the factory and industrial fabric in the area were damaged.
Currently, the authorities are conducting a scene investigation, determining the cause of the fire and calculating the damage.
