Ms. Huyen (character's name has been changed) wearing the station's staff shirt shared that the parking lot mentioned by the man was a private parking lot, which has been operating for many days since the preliminary and final inspections of the parade took place. The price of parking in the parking lot is also much higher than the price at the parking lot outside the station.
"The parking lot in Hao Nam communal house is a private parking lot, today we have to accept that they get more expensive tickets every day. Normally, the deposit is 20,000 VND/vehicle, but today it is 40,000 VND/vehicle, and since more than 8 and a half years, there have been hundreds of vehicles there. In addition to the station's parking lot, the price for a motorbike is only 5,000 VND," Ms. Huyen revealed.
People are upset
Witnessing the scene in the parking area with many empty seats but the parking lot staff brazenly "pulling" customers to another location to collect high-priced tickets, Mr. Bui Tien Dung (Yen Thuy, Phu Tho) was upset: "There are still many empty seats inside the station but the staff absolutely do not let us park there, they move here and charge high fees, taking advantage of this time to do business is really not advisable".
The parking area in Hao Nam communal house is quite far from the parking area arranged by the station, causing frustration for many people when having to travel longer distances.
"Everyone is immersing themselves in a joyful and patriotic atmosphere, if someone takes advantage of this to make a living, it is really ugly. The price of overnight bus tickets is 40,000 VND/motorbike, it may not seem like much, but when it is multiplied by hundreds of thousands of vehicles being parked here, this is definitely a large amount of money," said Ms. Anh Tuyet - a resident of the bus parked.
According to records, by 10:00 p.m., the parking lot area in the Hao Nam communal house area had hundreds of cars, currently the vehicle referral to here is still taking place with the smooth coordination of many people from the Cat Linh - Ha Dong parking lot area to the parking lot staff in the communal house.
