People are excited because the train helps move easily
Joining the crowd to attend the preliminary approval ceremony of the parade on the evening of August 27, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom (Nguyen Xa - Minh Khai - Hanoi) said: "My family and I chose the train to travel because during the festival, many routes were banned and travel was restricted. This was the first time I took the train. It's really great. Buying tickets is easy, lining up quickly, trains come continuously and travel quickly, the space is clean and cool".
During the festival days, thousands of people chose the train as a means of transportation to the central area and vice versa, participating the most in activities during the National Day on September 2. Not only that, the train has become a useful means of daily transportation for many Hanoians when going to work, going out...
Hanoi currently has two elevated metro lines, Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station, for people and tourists to use for the September 2 holiday. Each point will have suitable stations to reach the observation locations according to their own wishes.
The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station line consists of 8 stations that have been put into operation, starting from Nhon and ending at Cau Giay (Thu Le Park area). This route is convenient for people and tourists in districts such as Ba Vi, Phuc Tho, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Tu Liem, My Dinh and Cau Giay.
To get to the parade and parade viewing points, passengers will get off at the last wharf, Cau Giay station, then walk about 1.2km towards Thu Le lake to get to the Kim Ma - Nguyen Chi Thanh - Lieu Giai intersection. In this area, you can conveniently move to neighboring areas and observe the parade routes No. 3 (Army, Foreign Army, Militia and Police) and 8 (Red Flag).
Extending the operation of urban railway lines, serving the people
Information from the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center, said that thanks to the initiative of the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center, the urban railway and bus systems have coordinated smoothly, maximizing the effectiveness in releasing passengers on the evening of August 27 right after the end of the State-level preliminary approval event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 (A80).
At the end of the A80 preliminary review, bus routes were increased in vehicles and frequency was shortened, while the two urban railway routes extended their operation time to 2400, helping passengers feel secure having vehicles to return home after the event.
The center has implemented a plan to adjust routes, reverse or add services for some bus routes during the traffic diversion period, ensuring smooth and flexible operation. For urban railways, Hanoi Railway Company Limited has extended the train running time from 5:30 to 24:00.
The 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong route is currently being extended every 6 minutes and 30 seconds from 10:00 - 24:00, other time frames are 10 minutes/trip; ready to increase ships when needed. Route 3.1 Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station will be extended every 6 minutes from 10:00 - 24:00; at the same time, there will be more trains to increase when there are many passengers.
According to the leader of the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center, thanks to careful preparation and smooth coordination, the train and bus systems not only ensure fast and safe transportation but also affirm their role as a pillar of Hanoi public transport, contributing significantly to the overall success of the important event.
