Water flow to the largest hydropower reservoir in the South on September 20 reached 1,240m3/s

Dong Nai - Water flow to Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of September 20 reached 1,240m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to nearly 60m.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 10 am on September 20, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 1,240m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to nearly 60m, and the downstream water level to 2.5m.

Previously, electricity output on September 19 at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 9.2 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin, passing through Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
