Using bricks and mortar to create a flat surface
During the construction of the stage, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that the construction unit brought down the embankment (brick, mortar discharged from other works or debris) from the outside to fill the area near the construction site.
Accordingly, at 9:15 a.m. on March 13, a truck with license plate 75C - 051.39 carrying a full load of goods was moving down to the left side of the construction site. After a few steps back, the car started to pour bricks and mortar into the stands. After completing the filling, the two excavators were waiting in turn to level and remove the soil layer.
It is noted that on the right side of the stage stand, other piles of dismantling have also been dumped into the project before.
On the same afternoon, the truck carrying the goods was docked into the construction site and on the morning of March 14, the truck with license plate 75C - 053.42 also committed a similar act of discharge.
After many days, a large amount of the dismantling was dumped and filled into the area near the outdoor stage stand combined with the walking path along the Huong River.
Creating temporary land
The outdoor stage project combined with a walking path along the Huong River is invested by the Thuan Hoa District Green Park Center (Hue City); the total investment is 28.5 billion VND, undertaken by Thua Thien Hue Irrigation Construction Joint Stock Company.
According to the design, the walking route along the banks of the Huong River is 432m long and 3m wide. Main structure: reinforced concrete retaining wall beams are 1.7m high; the floor surface is reinforced concrete, 20cm thick, on a 50mm thick frame, area of 1,298m2. The stage is semi- triplicate, with a reinforced concrete floor structure, 20cm thick, on a 50mm thick frame, area of 430m2. The entire project will be constructed and completed in 2 years. In particular, the items related to the stage are gradually being completed. According to the representative of the construction unit, the project will be handed over to serve the upcoming big event.
The stage will be the opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 on the night of March 25. This is an important event, expected to attract a large number of people and tourists to attend the program.
In addition, the stage also serves the Miss Vietnam 2025 event. This will also be a place for entertainment and a place to organize other major events of Hue City in the future.
A representative of the Thuan Hoa District Green Park Center said that the demolition of the construction area was not included in the estimate and design. Because the soil in the area for the stage is wet and mushy, the construction unit used the loose-fitting to create a dry surface. After the programs are completed, the site will be dug up and the project will be constructed according to the design.
Talking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, a representative of Thua Thien Hue Irrigation Construction Joint Stock Company confirmed that there was a take-over of the embankment from another project to pour into the stage construction area to serve the opening program of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.
The representative of this company explained that the addition of this embankment to the construction site to create hardness because the soil in this area is damp and sunken is to create a flat surface for people to have space to stand and watch the upcoming art programs held here.
"In addition, the time is urgent to hand over the site, the demolition is outside the scope of the project and is only a temporary solution. Later, when this project is completed, there will be additional items such as lighting, grass, and trees" - the company representative informed.
