According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of May 22 to May 24, the Northern region is likely to experience a period of moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with total rainfall from 70-150mm, some places over 250mm; from the evening and night of May 23 to the night of May 24, the North Central region will have rain from 40-100mm, some places over 150mm; locally rain with high intensity over 80mm may appear in 3 hours.
To proactively respond to heavy rain, floods, flash floods, and landslides, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment recommends that provinces and cities closely monitor forecasts and warnings about heavy rain, floods, flash floods, landslides and provide timely and complete information to local authorities and people to proactively prevent them.
