On March 17, Hue City People's Committee announced that it will provide free visits to the sites belonging to the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Complex on March 26, 2026 for all Vietnamese citizens.
The policy is implemented on the occasion of the Hue Liberation Day March 26, 1975, to create conditions for people and domestic tourists to access and learn more deeply about the unique cultural and historical values of Hue heritage.
According to Hue City People's Committee, free entrance tickets not only contribute to stimulating domestic tourism but also aim to spread the image of the Ancient Capital, arouse national pride, and at the same time raise awareness of preserving and promoting heritage values in the community.
This policy is implemented according to the provisions of Resolution No. 55/2025/NQ-HĐND of the People's Council of Hue City on the collection level, collection regime, payment, management and use of entrance fees to historical and cultural relics belonging to the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Complex.
