On March 15, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the feasibility study report for the DT 770B road construction project passing through Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Long Thanh districts and Long Khanh city is expected to be approved in the third quarter of 2025.
Currently, the project has completed the appraisal work at the Department of Construction Investment Management - Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) and legal procedures on construction investment to submit for project approval according to regulations.
The route and project boundaries are basically in accordance with traffic planning, land use planning and general construction planning of the province and localities where the project passes through. However, there are currently local problems with the planning of land use of 94m2 in Dinh Quan district and updating the project route to the general construction planning of Phuoc Thai commune (Long Thanh district) to synchronize the planning types.
Currently, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is coordinating with the People's Committee of Dinh Quan District and the People's Committee of Long Thanh District to soon complete the adjustment of land use planning and general construction planning to ensure conditions for project approval.
The DT 770B road project will be invested in new construction with a length of more than 42km, with the starting point intersecting with DT 763 road in Suoi Nho commune (Dinh Quan district) and the end point intersecting with National Highway 51 in Phuoc Thai commune (Long Thanh district) planned to have a roadway of 60m, with 4-8 lanes.
The project has a total investment of about VND 8,043 billion, of which the construction cost is about VND 3,332 billion from the provincial budget; the project implementation period is from 2022-2027.
DT 770B route is invested in construction connecting the eastern and northeastern districts of Dong Nai province with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial parks, connecting the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
Currently, Dong Nai province is investing in expanding 3 projects including DT 769, DT 770B and DT 773 with a total investment of more than VND 18,000 billion to connect Long Thanh airport.
