On March 11, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Construction Project, from Vo Thi Sau Street to Dang Van Tron Street (Thong Nhat Bridge and the road connecting the two ends of the bridge) has only been handed over the construction site to 154 households with an area of over 22 hectares, reaching nearly 68% of the area.
However, the site is not continuous, leading to the lack of synchronous construction of construction items (currently, there are still 92 households that have received compensation, there are no resettlement plots so the site has not been handed over).
The Management Board of the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project recommends that the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City promptly complete compensation and site clearance and hand over construction sites for priority locations that meet construction conditions such as Thong Nhat Bridge, Vam Ong An Bridge and traffic routes of branches 1, branches 2, Thong Nhat Bridge intersection, Dang Van Tron intersection...
Regarding the implementation progress, up to now, contractors have implemented the construction of 5 main construction packages, the value of the packages is nearly 444 billion VND, reaching about 40%.
The project to build the central axis road of Bien Hoa city, the section from Vo Thi Sau street to Dang Van Tron street is a key traffic project of Dong Nai province with a total length of nearly 5.5 km.
The total area reclaimed is about 33.38 hectares with 380 households. Of which, Thong Nhat ward has about 50 households, Hiep Hoa ward has about 330 households.
The total investment is about 1,506 billion VND, of which the construction cost is 1,273 billion VND from the provincial budget.
The project implementation period is from 2021 to 2026.
The Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project with Thong Nhat Bridge and the road connecting the two ends of the bridge were started on January 31, 2023 and is expected to be completed after nearly 3 years of construction.
