On March 11, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City said that it is reviewing and continuing to implement the steps of the process of preparing public investment documents for the Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep inter-ward road construction investment project.
The People's Committee of Bien Hoa City assigned the Department of Finance - Planning to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Urban Management, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Project Management Board to prepare a dossier to propose a public investment policy for the Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep inter-ward road construction investment project.
In 2019, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province approved investment from the budget for 3 projects, including the Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep inter-ward road project. At that time, the project was preliminarily calculated by Bien Hoa City and the investment efficiency was determined, proposing that the Provincial People's Committee approve the investment policy using the provincial budget with a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND.
The Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep inter-ward road project is expected to be a vital route to reduce traffic congestion in the Tan Phong intersection area, especially Trang Dai ward (Bien Hoa city).
Currently, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City is also organizing a review and overall assessment of traffic demand in Trang Dai Ward, proposing to allocate planning, propose investment projects to build new or expand existing routes to increase the ability to connect Trang Dai Ward to main roads and neighboring areas. At the same time, assess and supplement the need to invest in drainage systems, flood prevention works... in Trang Dai ward.
Trang Dai ward with a population of over 120,000 people is considered a "super ward" due to the largest population of Bien Hoa city.
