On November 11, according to information from the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project is expected to start construction in February 2026.
The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 is nearly 30km long; the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province; the end point intersects with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.
The project is divided into 4 sections, of which sections 1, 3, 4 are invested with a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles. The second section is invested in a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles.
The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 769 has a total investment of nearly VND 5,900 billion. Of which, the cost of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance is more than VND3,000 billion.
The project is implemented in the communes of Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh, Dong Nai province. The total land area to be recovered to implement the project is more than 134 hectares.
Regarding land acquisition, compensation, and site clearance, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has handed over the land clearance boundary to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for implementation.
This is a project implemented by Dong Nai province with the aim of increasing connectivity and shortening travel time from localities in the province and provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions in general to Long Thanh airport. Thereby, meeting the needs of transportation, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1, contributing to the socio-economic development of localities with routes passing through in particular, Dong Nai province and the key economic region in the South in general.
