Hanoi - One person was confirmed dead in the concrete plate from a house being demolished and thrown onto the road.

Regarding the case of a large concrete plate thrown onto the road, crushing a pedestrian at the beginning of Van Chuong alley (Ton Duc Thang street, Hanoi), the authorities said that one victim died at the hospital due to severe injuries.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the incident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. on October 22. At that time, workers were demolishing a house when a concrete concrete piece of the floor suddenly fell out and hit two passersby.

As soon as the report was received, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police arrived at the scene, coordinating with the professional units of the Hanoi City Police to investigate the cause of the incident.

Initially, the police identified the two victims as Mr. M.D.G (born in 1984, hometown Thanh Hoa province) and Ms. D.T.Q (born in 1990, residing in O Cho Dua ward, Hanoi).

Due to severe injuries, Mr. G died at the hospital, Ms. Q is continuing to receive intensive treatment.

Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause.
