On the morning of August 21, after many hours of prolonged heavy rain, some areas near Suoi Linh and Suoi Chua (Long Binh ward, Dong Nai province) were still submerged in water.
The heavy rain started around 3am the same day. Heavy rain and rapidly rising water caused deep flooding at night, leaving many households unable to react, and many of their properties were damaged.

In response to the emergency situation, Long Binh Ward Police coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police to quickly arrive at the scene that night.
The soldiers immediately organized support for people to move their assets, taking children and the elderly out of the deeply flooded area to safety.

In addition to providing first aid, the authorities also recommended and reminded people not to go through areas with fast-flowing water, proactively monitor the weather and take necessary preventive measures to protect their lives and property.
