Recorded in Nam Ty commune, water from the mountain carrying soil and rocks has damaged many crop areas in Na Tong village, Pan village and the commune center. Some inter-village roads were seriously eroded, causing local disruption, greatly affecting people's travel and daily activities.

Notably, in Na Can 2 village, Chieng So commune, heavy rain left 2 people missing. As of 8:00 a.m. on July 27, the authorities were still actively organizing the search. The flood also caused many power poles to fall, causing widespread power outages in this area.

According to a quick report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province on the morning of July 27, areas affected by flooding include: Binh Thuan commune, Song Ma commune, Bo Sinh commune, Huoi Mot, Moc Son ward, Moc Chau ward... Heavy rain caused many houses and residential roads to be flooded 0.5 - 1m deep.

In Chieng Khoong commune, Huoi commune, a flood caused 35 households to be urgently evacuated. Of which, 5 households had their houses collapsed, and 30 households were at high risk of landslides.
Early this morning, functional forces in the communes are deploying damage statistics, continuing to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.

Currently, there is still rain in Son La province. Localities have sent forces to be on duty 24/7, closely monitoring the weather and floods, while stepping up propaganda so that people can proactively respond to flash floods, landslides and localized flooding.
