Heavy rain from the evening of November 2 to the evening of November 3 caused many roads in Hue City to be partially flooded, with some places being flooded about 0.5m deep.
According to Lao Dong's records on the night of November 3, roads such as Vu Thang, Hoang Lanh, and Hoang The Thien were flooded, with water levels ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 meters, making it very difficult for vehicles to move.
To prevent flooding, on the night of November 3, residents of Xuan Phu and Aranya apartment buildings had to move their cars to the square near the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Administrative Center to park their cars and prevent water from rising.
Vinasarcom of Thua Thien Hue province said that from the evening of November 3 to November 9, the province experienced heavy to very heavy rain. The total rainfall for the entire period was generally 500 - 850mm, with some places reporting over 1,000mm. This was a very complicated period of rain, lasting for many days, with the heaviest rain concentrated from November 5 to 8.

Strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to have plans to reserve food and essential necessities to proactively respond to floods and isolation that may last for a long time.
People need to proactively guard against heavy rain in a short period of time (can reach over 150mm/hour and over 300mm/6 hours) which can cause widespread urban flooding across the province.
