On November 1, the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command informed that the whole province has 24 communes and wards reporting on the damage caused by natural disasters.
Localities that suffered heavy damage to their houses include: Ham Thuan commune, 1,060 houses were flooded, 2 houses had walls fallen, 3 houses had foundation erosion, 3 rescue canoes drifted and many other properties were damaged.
Luong Son commune had 650 flooded houses. Ham Liem commune: 400 households were flooded and had to evacuate to a safe area.
Phan Ri Cua commune has 384 households flooded from 0.30.5m. Phan Thiet ward had 390 flooded houses. Localities have evacuated a total of 166 households to safe places.

The total area of crops in the province was damaged by about 7,313.5 hectares, including: Rice 2,765.4 hectares; vegetables 3,050.8 hectares; perennial crops, fruit trees 1,497.3 hectares; aquaculture area of more than 4.9 hectares...
Damage to livestock and poultry including 3,762 poultry and 47 livestock (pork, cow) died or were swept away.

Currently, the whole province has more than 20 landslides, damaged, and flooded some bridges, culverts, and roads. In particular, it is necessary to mention Phan Son commune where National Highway 28B had a landslide on the positive slope, causing traffic congestion.
In Ham Thanh commune, the road to Da Ban - Gia Nao production area, Ham Can village, about 200m long, suffered a serious landslide, causing damage of about 2 billion VND.
Luong Son commune was flooded on National Highway 1A in Luong Nam and Luong Hoa quarters. Song Luy commune flooded National Highway 1A in Suoi Nhuom village. Binh Thuan ward was affected by flooding.

The area at the head of the suspension bridge at km262+500 National Highway 20 ( bordering Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward and D'Ran commune) has half of its road sunk, about 40m long, and the risk of landslides continues to be high.
There were 3 fishing boats that sank, including: 1 boat in Tan Hai commune and 2 boats in Phan Ri Cua commune.

Currently, localities are continuing to review, count and summarize the damage. In the coming time, the Provincial Civil Defense Command will urge, summarize the situation of impact and damage caused by natural disasters, and report to the Provincial People's Committee.
During the days of natural disasters, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Civil Defense Command, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command and the Departments of Agriculture and Environment organized direct inspection teams to direct the overcoming of the consequences.

Currently, the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee are directing the work of overcoming, visiting and giving gifts to support people in difficulty.
