On the afternoon of October 31, the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command quickly informed about the damage caused by floods in the province.
According to the report, heavy rainfall is concentrated in the southern and eastern communes. It is forecasted that in the coming days, rain will continue; although rainfall will decrease, there will still be moderate rain, locally heavy rain with thunderstorms.

The flood killed 2 people. Of these, 1 person was swept away by floodwaters in Gian Dan village (D'Ran commune) and 1 person drowned in Ca hamlet (Phu Thinh quarter, Ham Thang ward).
The whole province had about 1,672 houses flooded and damaged; many properties, crops and infrastructure were affected, with estimated damage of tens of billions of VND.

Some areas such as bridge No. 6 on National Highway 28, DT707 route and spillways in Ham Kiem are still flooded.
In Ham Thanh commune, a riverbank landslide occurred, directly affecting people's houses, and the local government is organizing support for relocation.

The total area of damaged crops was about 5,610 hectares, including: 2,678 hectares of rice, 2,151 hectares of vegetables, 781 hectares of fruit trees.
In addition, 4.4 hectares of aquaculture area were damaged and about 2,286 poultry and livestock were swept away. The province also recorded 17 landslides, damaging bridges, culverts and many traffic routes.

Currently, functional forces are focusing on overcoming the consequences and supporting people to evacuate to a safe place.
