In Dai Loc commune, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luu, 62 years old, standing in front of a house flooded almost to the roof, emotionally said:

I have never seen the water rise so quickly and high. In 1964 there was a major flood, but this year the water level has exceeded that mark. In just a few hours, the water overflowed all the furniture. Now that we heard that the water had begun to recede, everyone hoped that the sky would clear up quickly, the river would soon soothe to clean up, re-sow rice, and restore life".

Although the water is receding, the risk of local deep flooding still exists in low-lying areas along rivers and low-lying urban areas. People are advised to continue to follow evacuation instructions, limit travel through flooded and landslide areas; proactively clean up and disinfect when the water recedes to soon stabilize their daily activities.

Localities maintain 24/7 duty, review vulnerable points, prepare rescue vehicles, ensure electricity and water safety, gradually restore production and people's infrastructure.
