On the morning of September 1st, at the construction site of the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, a group of workers braved the sun, accelerating the construction progress of many project items, including the item of completing sidewalk paving.
Mr. Tong Ba Nguyen (62 years old, from Thanh Hoa province) working at the Ring Road 1 project said that before the urgent progress of the project, many workers like him have temporarily put aside holidays and stayed at the construction site to speed up the project progress.
I also miss home and want to return to my family and loved ones to gather during the holidays, but being encouraged by the contractor, we are willing to stay" - Mr. Nguyen said.

For the male worker, contributing a part of his efforts to the city's key project is also the joy of him and many other workers working at the construction site.
The road opening will help change the urban appearance, contribute to reducing traffic congestion, and help people travel more conveniently" - Mr. Nguyen said.
At the same time, many workers are also urgently installing mobile medians at the intersection with Nguyen Chi Thanh street, ensuring the technical traffic opening progress of the project (road section), expected on September 2.
Meanwhile, 2 overpasses on the route at the Lang Ha and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersections are still under construction, expected to be completed before December 31, 2026.

At the Ring Road 2.5 project, Cau Giay - Dich Vong New Urban Area section, many machines and workers are mobilized to maintain the construction pace at the construction site.
Project commander - Mr. Do Van Giap is always present at the construction site throughout the holidays of National Day September 2nd to urge and direct construction work.
Mr. Giap said that according to the plan, Ring Road 2.5 must be cleared in 2026, the contractor does not have much time left, so they must make efforts every day, every hour.
Although it is a holiday, all forces at the construction site are determined to stick to their positions, striving to speed up each item of work" - commander Do Van Giap said.

According to Mr. Giap, the labor force is mostly people far from home, moving during holidays is often difficult and time-consuming, disrupting the construction pace.
Therefore, the construction site command board has proactively planned to encourage and care for the material and spiritual life, helping workers to feel secure in staying to work.
At the project construction site, male student Le Ngoc Hieu (20 years old, from Thanh Hoa, currently a 2nd year student at a university in Gia Lam commune) is diligently working on the assigned tasks.
Although it is an extra job, I still try to complete the tasks assigned at the project well. Working at the construction site is really hard, but it gives me experience and income to cover my life and studies" - Hieu said.

In addition to the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, Ring Road 2.5, bridges across the Red River are also entering the acceleration phase.
At the Tran Hung Dao bridge project, Mr. Mai Minh Thang - Commander of Trung Chinh contractor said that the unit still maintains construction throughout the National Day holiday September 2.
According to Mr. Thang, the progress of the entire project is in a hurried stage, the contractor is forced to take advantage of each period of favorable weather as well as holidays to concentrate manpower and encourage workers to stick to the construction site.

Besides the construction efforts, Mr. Thang emphasized that the contractor's biggest desire is to soon hand over a clean and synchronous site.
Currently, the relocation of technical infrastructure is being implemented, but the progress is not as expected. The site clearance problem not only affects the construction of key items such as access roads and branch bridges, but also puts pressure on the progress of the later stage.
Therefore, the contractor hopes that functional agencies will coordinate to completely handle site clearance so that the project can accelerate, towards the goal of completing the project in accordance with the city's direction, expected in 2027.
